Christopher Mooney is a Certified Peer Specialist Trainer with The Institute for Recovery & Community Integration. He background includes obtaining Certification as an Advance Level Mental Health Recovery Educator and WRAP Facilitator through the Copeland Center For Wellness and Recovery. Christopher completed his Associates degree in liberal arts from Delaware County Community College and went on to pursue a degree from Temple University in Mass Media and Communications. Before becoming a motivational speaker and educator on mental health recovery, he was a familiar personality in his local community for WPWA Radio. Christopher states that the most important aspect to his recovery was learning that recovery involves a planned strategic response to all areas of one's life where action must be taken by the person. Through his own accomplishments in Recovery Chris has foster mentorship skills that he strives to share with others at all levels of wellness in our community. |
