Yvette Patricia Pate is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor Trainer, and an Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator. She has spent the past 5 years with the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania‘s Friends Connection; a program for people with the co-occurring challenges of substance abuse and mental health challenges, as the CPS Supervisor/ Intake Specialist. Yvette has also worked with the Institute for Recovery and Community Integration as an Adjunct Trainer for the past 4 years. As a result of her personal recovery; she has continuously dedicated the past 13 years her life to empowering people towards their personal journey of recovery and wellness. She has worked with various populations including women and children with substance abuse issues, and most recently adults impacted by the co-occurring challenges of substance abuse and mental health challenges. In 2008 the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania honored her with a leadership award. Yvette is at the cutting edge of the implementation of the practices of Psychiatric Rehabilitation to help people achieve recovery, wellness, and community integration. Yvette brings a strong sense of commitment and dedication to all of her endeavors. |
