We are excited to announce that ICAN will be offering scholarships to the 2018 Alternatives Conference! This year’s theme is On Our Own, Transforming the Future Together!

The Alternatives conference is the oldest and largest conference of its kind, organized and hosted for more than three decades by peers for peers (people with lived experience of the behavioral health system, emotional distress/crisis, trauma, substance use, and/or addiction). Alternatives is renowned for offering the latest and best information in the peer recovery movement, and provides an invaluable opportunity for peers to network with and learn from one another.

Alternatives will be held at Catholic University of America in Washington DC from July 29th-Auguest 3rd. Accommodations will be on campus.

This scholarship includes conference registration, accommodations, and transportation to/from your local area to Union Station in DC.

Meals not provided by the conference will be on your own. You will be responsible for transportation to/from your local train/bus station, and to/from Union Station in DC.

You can find the conference schedule here.  Accommodations provided by the scholarship will be at Catholic University, more information can be found here.
