The PA Peer Support Coalition will have vacancies for representative positions to the Coalition Steering Committee in all regions of the state (northwest, southwest, north central, south central, northeast, and southeast) beginning January 2010.

Most of these vacancies are alternate positions, but some regions may also require regular representatives. Regular representatives attend monthly teleconference meetings to help guide the Coalition. Alternate representatives for the Coalition Steering Committee attend Committee meetings when the regular representatives are unavailable. All positions are on a volunteer basis.

All individuals who serve on the Steering Committee must be: (1) openly disclosed persons in recovery from mental illness, (2) residents of Pennsylvania, and (3) must provide mental health peer support to others (paid or volunteer). It is not necessary to be a Certified Peer Specialist to serve on the Committee.
